At 36, former Manchester United star Nani is in remarkable shape. The ex-Old Trafford winger showcased his toned physique on social media, impressing fans with his ripped figure.
Nani, who played nearly 200 games for the Red Devils, is currently with Melbourne Victory in Australia. Despite tearing his ACL in January while playing for Melbourne Victory, Nani is recovering well, starting his rehabilitation with a workout in Portugal. In an Instagram post from the Portuguese Football Federation’s Lisbon offices, he displayed his abs, captioning the photo, “The journey may be challenging, but the reward will be well worth it. I am delighted to be returning to Cidade do Futebol for an additional training session. I’m going to be back stronger!”
Some fans questioned why Nani was training in Portugal instead of Melbourne, with comments like, “You guys should be training in Melbourne with your CONTRACTED team,” and, “Why don’t you go back to Melbourne, where you belong, and ‘focus on coming back stronger’?”
Nani joined Melbourne Victory last summer after leaving Venezia in Italy and signing a two-year contract with the Australian team. He previously made 230 appearances for Manchester United, winning the Champions League, the League Cup three times, the Club World Cup, and four Premier League titles before moving to Fenerbahce in 2015. He has also earned 112 caps for Portugal.
