Lionel Messi Makes Debut Appearance at Miami Heat Game, as His Family Enjoys the Event Decked out in NBA Gear

Lionel Messi, the eight-time Ballon d’Or recipient, currently playing for the Inter Miami MLS franchise in Florida, attended the playoff series between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. Despite his presence, the Heat suffered a 102-88 loss. Accompanied by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their three sons Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, Messi was joined by teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, as well as friends and family, at the Kaseya Center.

The Messi family geared up for the basketball excitement by sporting custom Heat jerseys, with Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro proudly wearing the No.10, their father’s iconic number. Although retired in honor of Tim Hardaway in 2009, Messi opted for the familiar number. After enjoying an evening courtside, the soccer legend will return to the field for a match against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.
