The Miami Heat ƅеаt Boston 111-101 with an unprecedented barrage of 3-pointers to erase the home-court advantage the Celtics worked all season to establish

The Miami Heat delivered an extraordinary display of 3-point shooting on Wednesday night, overcoming the home-court advantage that the Boston Celtics had worked hard to establish throughout the season.

Tyler Herro led the charge with 24 points and 14 assists, sinking six of Miami’s 23 3-pointers – a franchise playoff record. This performance propelled the Heat to a 111-101 victory over the top-seeded Celtics, leveling the first-round playoff series at one game apiece.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra praised his team’s response, noting, “It was a very good response. And then we also made some shots. It always looks better when you make shots.”

Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin also contributed significantly, each scoring 21 points, as Miami shot an impressive 53.5% from beyond the arc. This marked a stark contrast from their Game 1 defeat, where they were outperformed from long range.

Playing without Jimmy Butler for the third consecutive game, Miami’s relentless shooting barrage proved too much for the Celtics to handle. Despite Boston’s efforts to close the gap in the fourth quarter, Miami maintained control and secured the crucial victory.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 33 points, while Jayson Tatum showed resilience after a hard foul from Martin in Game 1. Despite their efforts, Boston couldn’t contain Miami’s record-brеɑkinɡ shooting performance.

With the series shifting to Miami for Games 3 and 4, the Heat are buoyed by their road victory and aim to capitalize on their momentum. Meanwhile, the Celtics will look to regroup and make better use of their home-court advantage in the upcoming games.
