The Dutch defender recently had a memorable and crucial moment in his career when he scored his first-ever Champions League goal, helping Dortmund come from behind to defeat Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

Maatsen’s impressive performances at Dortmund have led many Chelsea fans to call for the club to keep the 22-year-old and utilize him in the upcoming season. However, Chelsea supporters may be disappointed as Maatsen himself is no longer interested in returning to The Blues. According to German media reports, the Dutch player has informed Chelsea that he wants to stay at Dortmund long-term.
