Chelsea Eyeing Raphael Varane as Potential Free Agent Signing

Chelsea is poised to open its doors to welcome Raphael Varane, who is likely to depart from Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window as a free agent.

In 21 Premier League appearances this season, Varane has stood out with 15 interceptions, 86 clearances (42 with his head), winning 42 duels and losing only 20, winning 21 aerial duels while losing 5.

In the event of securing Varane’s signature, the French center-back playing 50% of the matches would be considered a success for Chelsea.

Glen Johnson, a Premier League champion with Chelsea in 2004-05, advises his former club not to overlook the opportunity to sign Varane in the upcoming summer transfer window.
