Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, and Kawhi Leonard Shine in Team USA Jersey Unvеιling Event

On Wednesday, USA Basketball unveiled the мen’s basketball team set to represent the United States in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The 39-year-old James, who previously earned a bronze medal in 2004 and two gold medals in 2008 and 2012, will be joined by his Lakers teammate Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns, Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday from the Boston Celtics, Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers, Tyrese Haliburton from the Indiana Pacers, and Bam Adebayo from the Miami Heat.

At 36, Curry will be making his Olympic debut, becoming the fifth player from the Warriors to represent Team USA in the Olympics.

Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers’ star center and current NBA MVP, has chosen to compete for the US in his first Olympics. Embiid had the option of playing for France or his native Cameroon.

Steve Kerr from the Golden State Warriors, who led Team USA to gold in the Tokyo Games, will serve as the head coach in place of Gregg Popovich.

Before heading to Paris in July, the US team will undergo training camp and play exhibition matches in Las Vegas.

The мen’s basketball competition will commence on July 27 following the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
