Lionel Messi bᴜгst out laughing in training with Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets ahead of Inter Miami’s crunch clasҺ with Monterrey

Prior to Inter Miami’s CONCACAF Champions Cup quarter-final second leg against Monterrey on Tuesday, Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba participated in a lively training session rondo. The quartet, hailed as Barcelona legends, appeared notably relaxed as they shared laughter throughout the session. Messi made a cameo appearance as a substitute in Miami’s MLS draw against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, marking his return to play after a hiatus since March 13 due to a thigh ιnjᴜry.

Inter Miami manager Tata Martino expressed confidence that Messi has fully recovered from his ιnjᴜry setback, suggesting a potential increased involvement in the upcoming match against Monterrey. “He’s doing well. He felt comfortable after playing 45 minutes in the MLS match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday,” Martino informed reporters. “We still have today’s training session, so we’ll assess his condition further. However, the ιnjᴜry appears to be a thing of the past, which is the most important aspect.”

Messi aims to lead his team into the CONCACAF Cup semi-finals, yet they face a challenging task of overturning a 2-1 deficit from the first leg and overcoming historical odds. Following this fixture, Inter Miami will resume MLS action, currently occupying the third position in the Eastern Conference, with a match against Sporting KC scheduled for the upcoming Sunday.
