Chelsea Have No Plans to Sell Benoit Badiashile Despite Injuries

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have no plans for defender Benoit Badiashile to leave this summer.

On January 5, 2023, Benoit Badiashile arrived at Chelsea for a transfer fee of nearly 40M euros. Just 10 days later, he made his debut for the club in a match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. However, his career at Chelsea has been hindered by injuries. Last season, he suffered three different injuries and missed 12 games. This season, Badiashile has been absent for a total of 187 days.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano stated, “Chelsea currently have no intention of letting Benoit Badiashile leave this summer. Chalobah could potentially depart, as expected, but there are no plans regarding Badiashile as of now.”

“Chelsea rejected offers from Italian clubs for Badiashile last January,” Romano added.
