Contrary to expectations, he named Kobe Bryant as the greatest player of all time. His rationale is straightforward: Bryant served as his inspiration to play.

“It’s the inspiration factor,” Tatum candidly explained regarding what distinguishes Bryant from Michael Jordan in his eyes.

“The way he inspired someone who was 2000 miles away that I had never met. Just watching him on TV, observing his interviews, witnessing how hard he worked.”
