Known for adding a touch of flair to elite-level players’ footwear, Dawson has previously designed boots for the likes of Darwin Nunez, Allan Saint-Maximin, and Alex McCarthy, and now, he turns his attention to Chelsea’s international teammate, Enzo Fernandez.

 

Fernandez showcased the customized boots, embellished with special details, in the match against Aston Villa, enhancing the speculation around his burgeoning brand affiliation. Previously seen in Nike’s Phantom GT, the Argentinian midfielder now introduces a pair of PUMA Ultras, suggesting a potential shift in his footwear allegiance. This move signals Fernandez’s ongoing exploration of his footwear choices, collaborating with Dawson to create bespoke Mercurial Vapors.

 

The boots, potentially the Mercurial Vapor XIII, appear to draw inspiration from the ‘Nuovo White’ pack released in late 2019. While resembling the original model, there are distinct customizations, such as a unique geometric pattern on the heel featuring fading blue hues, symbolizing Argentina’s national colors. Gold details, including the Swoosh outline, three stars representing Argentina’s three World Cup victories, and personalized “AFA” and “E8” on the left and right heels, respectively, add a personalized touch.
