Chelsea Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic Looks Ahead to Newcastle Clash after Brentford Draw

Djordje Petrovic expressed his frustration after Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Brentford but is swiftly redirecting focus to the upcoming clash with Newcastle on Monday. Despite Axel Disasi’s late equalizer salvaging a point, Petrovic, who delivered another solid performance in goal, emphasized the team’s disappointment at not securing all three points.

However, he sees the match against Newcastle as a prime opportunity to bounce back and secure a win.

“Our goal for every game is to take three points,” said Djordje Petrovic. “Now, we must focus on the next game and putting it right against Newcastle. With the match being on Monday night, we have a lot of time to recover and focus on what we need to do to get the three points there.”

“The final was a good experience even though it wasn’t the end result we wanted. We are a young team, and it was a good lesson for us, to improve for next time,” Petrovic added. “We have big games coming up in both the Premier League and the FA Cup, and there is still so much for us to achieve this season.”
