Roy Keane Voices Criticism: Disapproves of Marcus Rashford’s Attitude

Marcus Rashford’s recent performance received a lot of criticism and Roy Keane seemed fed up with the English striker’s attitude. From being MU’s number 1 goalscorer last season, Marcus Rashford played extremely poorly. Half the season is about to pass, but Rashford’s number of goals in the Premier League so far is only two.

Not to mention, Rashford’s playing attitude also made fans unhappy. A player with a high salary, high expectations, a constant starting role despite his poor performance, but has a less positive attitude and is even lazy to move.

Roy Keane did not hide his disappointment when commenting on Rashford. He said: “Marcus Rashford is a player who grew up from MU, rose to the first team and is now given an expensive contract. And I need to see Rashford contribute more.

Not only does Rashford run towards the opponent’s goal, he must also know how to retreat to support his teammates. Must know how to be present at hot spots on the field and organize attacks.

This year he is 26 years old, no longer a child. Rashford should have been exemplary. Rashford is one of the most experienced players at MU right now. If you can’t become a role model at the team, that will be a problem for MU.”

Rashford’s performance against Newcastle continued to receive a lot of criticism. Coach Erik ten Hag said he will have a private discussion with this striker. We cannot rule out the possibility that Rashford will be pushed to the bench in the near future.
