Mundo Deportivo reports that Al-Qadisiyah, a second-division team in Saudi Arabia, made a substantial offer to secure the services of Spain international Sergi Roberto. However, the versatile Barcelona player declined the proposal, reportedly citing personal reasons for rejecting the move. Al-Qadisiyah, aiming for promotion to the Saudi Pro League in the upcoming season, had envisioned a bold strategy to acquire Roberto’s talents, but the player opted against the transfer.

Sergi Roberto’s existing contract with Barcelona is set to conclude in the summer.
