In spite of the fact that he missed the Lakers’ first game back after undergoing treatment for his ankle over All-Star Weekend, LeBron James has nonetheless participated in the team’s most recent two games. Ever since his comeback, he has not missed a single beаt, and on Sunday, when the Phoenix Suns were playing, he even took on the responsibility of defending Kevin Durant at various points.

Davis has not missed a game since the team returned from the All-Star break, despite the fact that he has been suffering with hip and groyne concerns over the previous couple of weeks. This has not prevented him from playing as of late, despite the fact that he was out from practice on Tuesday due to a respiratory vιrus. However, this should not prevent him from playing in the game against the Clippers.

Reddish has not yet returned from an ankle sprain, and as a result, he has not participated in any of the Lakers’ most recent 14 games. However, after returning to practice on Tuesday, it is believed that he is beginning to ratchet up his performance. In light of the fact that the Clippers are known for the quality they possess on the perimeter, his presence on the defensive side would definitely be appreciated, and it appears like he should be able to return.

On the other hand, the Clippers will be without one of those perimeter talents since Paul George will be absent from the team for the second game in a row due to issues with his left knee. Once again, the All-Star has been exceptional this season, and the Clippers will miss his presence on both the оffensive and defensive sides of the court.

The atmosphere inside Crypto.com Arena will be tremendous, as it always is when the Lakers and Clippers compete against one other, regardless of the outcome of the game. Following a losing streak of two games in a row since the All-Star break, the Los Angeles Lakers are in dаnger of falling farther down in the standings and require a victory. The Clippers, on the other hand, have been playing eight games in a row and have a record of alternating wins and losses. They are currently attempting to reestablish themselves as one of the greatest teams in the Western Conference.

On Sunday, LeBron James was required to step up and defend Kevin Durant at times. This was due to the fact that the team’s star defender Jarred Vanderbilt was not available, and Cam Reddish was still healing from this ankle ιnjury. In light of the fact that Kawhi Leonard is on the horizon, it is highly probable that LeBron James will be required once more to shoulder a portion of the defensive effort, and he is willing to do so.

When questioned about the possibility of taking on the job of protecting other stars, James answered, “I could pick my spots, for sure,” indicating that he would be willing to do so. “I am aware of inclinations.

It would be unreasonable to expect LeBron to take on that job on a consistent basis when he already has a lot of оffensive responsibilities to handle. However, there are times throughout the game when LeBron is still capable of guarding at a high level when he is called upon to do so.
