Oscar Bobb has disclosed that his Norwegian colleague Erling Haaland has been an essential source of assistance in assisting him in making the transition from our Academy to being established as an integral component of City’s first team setup.

A new three-year deal was signed by the attacking midfielder, who is 20 years old, today. This contract extends his stay at City until the summer of 2029, bringing his total to three years.

After making 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, Bobb has already had a significant impression for City. He has scored twice and provided two assists during the course of his time with the club.

And in a special interview with mancity.com, Oscar highlighted how the assistance and guidance of his Norwegian international teammate Haaland had proven to be a significant element in his recent deal and the excellent improvement he has made this season.

“[Having Erling in the set-up] is going to be of great assistance,” Oscar disclosed.

“Having him, having someone to talk to, having someone to ask for help, and having all we need is wonderful.

“Having him around, helping me develop, and just helping me settle in this year has been a huge help to me,” she said. “He has accomplished a lot of the things that I think I will be able to accomplish in the future.”

Two trophies have already been won by Pep Guardiola’s team so far this season, namely the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Bobb has been a significant contributor to both of these victories.

In addition, he stated that the recollection of those two exceptional events had only served to amplify his desire to assist City in achieving even greater success between now and the conclusion of the season.
