United require their top scorer to help them move up to the top four in the Premier League and secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

Ten Hag’s team is currently in sixth place, trailing fourth-placed Villa by five points.

City, their opponents, are in second place with a 12-point lead as the second Manchester derby of the season nears.
