Lionel Messi’s 10-year-old son, Thiago Messi, has recently joined Inter Miami’s under-12 squad, approximately one month after his father joined the team. Thiago is now part of the youth academy, which consists of around 150 young players associated with the Major League Soccer team.
Notably, other notable individuals, such as David Beckham’s son Romeo and the son of former head coach Phil Neville, Harvey, have also progressed through the ranks of Inter Miami’s youth squad. Lionel Messi, who made his debut with Inter Miami in July, expressed his decision to come to the United States after winning the World Cup and facing challenges returning to Barcelona.
Messi emphasized his desire to experience football differently and to enjoy the day-to-day aspects with a sense of calmness, responsibility, and a continued passion for performing well.
