Erling Haaland’s Manchester City will play a preseason friendly in the USA against Chelsea this summer.

As reported by The Athletic, the English football giants are scheduled to face each other in the United States ahead of the 2024-25 Premier League season. City’s summer plans also include visits to North Carolina, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Maryland, and Chicago, promising a packed and eventful preseason.

Nevertheless, it is improbable that all the star players from both clubs will be part of the travel squads. The international football calendar is filled with major events over the summer, including Copa America, the Euros, and the Paris Olympic Games, spanning two and a half months. However, Haaland is expected to be present, given that Norway did not qualify for this summer’s European tournament.
