What’s in his safe aren’t merely accessories that his friends approve of.

Naturally, this is Patek’s premier steel sports watch, but instead of the iconic blue dial, it has an embossed white one. It’s sporty, elegant, and subtle without hitting you over the head. Inspired by the shape of a ship’s porthole, the narrative of one of Gérald Genta’s many masterpieces started, as you may know, with the godfather of Swiss watch design scribbling a little something on a bar serviette over a lazy lunch in Basel. Marcus has a custom Nautilus that is matte black with PVD coating and emerald encrusted. While it may not be Genta-approved, it was inspired by the Nautilus that Virgil Abloh made for Drake a few years ago. Marcus also has the original Nautilus. Even though he may have violated the tight warranty, he probably doesn’t mind. Oh, and there’s also the Genta, small tapisserie-inspired Grail in rotation, which is a stainless steel AP Royal Oak with its distinctive textured dial.
A few big-name Richard Milles pieces are included in the collection’s ultralight, ultraexclusive, and ultracomplex side. The ultimate RM model, the black RM030 with an orange skeletonized dial weighs a whooping 30 grammes and is only available in 30 pieces. Rafa Nadal is able to win 100 French Opens in a row for a reason. A 1/35 RM035 Ultimate Edition in Carbon TPT, which is all black with a hint of red, and a white ceramic RM55, which is an extremely rare 2012 piece that was created to meet the requirements of golfer Bubba Watson. Marcus is well-versed in Milles. Additionally, he is occasionally seen wearing a Man Utd(ish) red 11-03 Automatic Flyback Chronograph. That’s four RMs for me. Not bad.
