Kylian Mbappe has reportedly decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and join Real Madrid

As per the French newspaper Le Parisien, the 25-year-old has made the choice to sign with Madrid for the 2024-25 season. The French national’s contract with the Parisian team expires this summer, and despite continuous speculation connecting him to the Spanish giants, Mbappe seems inclined to make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Nevertheless, the report emphasizes that the deal has not been finalized as of now.

The report mentions ongoing negotiations between the concerned parties to formulate the most substantial contract within the Madrid squad for Mbappe. The World Cup champion has purportedly dismissed the possibility of joining Liverpool in the upcoming season. However, if he were to transfer to Madrid, it would represent a significant triumph for the Spanish team, particularly considering it would be a free transfer.

This information emerges as Mbappe is rumored to have harbored “numerous uncertainties” about parting ways with the team he has considered his home since departing Monaco for PSG in 2018. Since that notable transfer, which amounted to €180 million, the French player has registered 241 goals in 288 appearances.

After this revelation, there is likely to be ongoing speculation surrounding Mbappe’s potential transfer in the upcoming weeks and months. On the field, PSG is set to face Brest in the French Cup last 16 on Wednesday, followed by a Ligue 1 clash against Lille next Saturday.
