The way Cleveland’s defense took Paul George and James Harden out of the games was their most brilliant move. Together, the two of them shot 31% (6-19) from the field and scored 24 points. Although Kawhi Leonard did put up 30 points against the Cavaliers, it is nearly hard to stop a team with the caliber of the Clippers’ lineup. 

The reappearance of Evan Mobley is set to be one of the game’s key themes. Despite having a 20-minute time limit, he managed to score 10 points by shooting 71% (5-7) from the field and grabbing eight rebounds. It’s possible to overestimate Mobley’s defensive contribution.
