Despite a promising start after being promoted from the Cobham academy, Trevoh Chalobah has struggled to secure a regular starting position at Chelsea. Manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly willing to part ways with Chalobah during the January transfer window, either through a loan deal or a permanent transfer.
While the 24-year-old defender has attracted interest from prominent clubs such as Bayern Munich and AC Milan, the decision ultimately lies with the player. Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, shared insights on the situation, stating, “With Trevoh Chalobah, Chelsea is ready to sell permanently or loan, but it depends on him. I’ll leave the situation open for the future in the last days of the transfer window, but currently, nothing is definitive as Chalobah has to decide what’s best for him, and Chelsea is ready to accept that decision”.
