Against the Lakers, the Clippers’ offense was outstanding.
On Tuesday night, the LA Clippers’ offense against the Lakers was scorching. Although it seemed as though the club would never miss a shot, the Clippers ended up making history that evening.
Kawhi Leonard and James Harden made Clippers history by being the first teammates to record 20 points and 10 assists apiece, according StatMamba.
On 69% shooting, Kawhi Leonard finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steаls, and 1 block. It was only his second career triple-double, and a very effective one at that. James Harden scored 23 points on 47% shooting, with 10 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steаl, and 1 block. He was scorching hоt at the beginning of the game, but in the fourth quarter, he really cooled off.
The Clippers collectively had an amazing field goal percentage of 59/52/75, but they were unable to shut out the Lakers until the very end of the game. Following the game, Clippers head coach Ty Lue stated that he thought the squad didn’t play with the proper mindset after finding out that LeBron James would not be playing. One could assume that the Clippers fell short against the Lakers on Tuesday night based on the post-game conversation Lue and a few players were having.
Due to the balanced play of their starting lineup, the LA Clippers have won 20 of their previous 24 basketball games.
