Next, following Tuesday’s 128-117 victory over the Clippers, Harden was questioned regarding the possibility of playing for the franchise for the remainder of his career.

In response, Harden said that he had experienced identical feelings when playing for the Philadelphia 76ers the previous season. He’s now with the Clippers, though, and he’s excited about the chance to construct a solid future squad after problems with the team’s administration brought him here.

“I thought the same thing last year, last team (Philadelphia 76ers) I was on. That’s why I did all those sacrifices. But I’m here, home. We have an opportunity. I want to be able to keep the core together for a few years, and I haven’t had those opportunities the last few years. So things are going well, and I’m happy,” the 34-year-old point guard remarked.

The Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder were the recipients of a significant transaction that the Los Angeles Clippers made on November 1, 2023. James Harden, P. J. Tucker, and Filip Petrušev were acquired by the Clippers from the 76ers.

For the Clippers, Harden has performed admirably. He has made clutch plays, including as the game-winning basket against the Houston Rockets.
