According to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, Rasmus Hojlund would be considerably helped by the arrival of Karim Benzema to the club.
The Red Devils are reportedly unable to sign the striker in January, according to Ferdinand.
After just a few months away from Real Madrid to play for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, Benzema is reportedly considering a return to Europe.
The striker’s future with Al-Ittihad is uncertain after he did not show up for preseason training. He is 36 years old.
United manager Erik ten Hag is considering bringing in Benzema as a forward to help out 20-year-old Victor Hojlund, who scored his second Premier League goal in last weekend’s 2-2 home draw with Tottenham.
For Ferdinand, it’s simply returning to old habits on the FIVE YouTube channel.
“With Cristiano, Falcao, Cavani, Zlatan, Falcao, falcao, we’ve done it before.
“Listen up, Benzema… Are you able to decline? What gives you the right to reject that signing?
