Jack Grealish called Kevin De Bruyne the ‘GOAT’ after the Belgian’s phenomenal return to Premier League action for Manchester City

The England international referred to his Manchester City teammate De Bruyne as the ‘GOAT’ (Greatest of all time) after the Manchester City talisman scored and assisted against Newcastle United on his return to the Premier League. The Belgian equalised in the 74th minute before setting up Oscar Bobb for his 91st-minute winner with a brilliant pass.

Grealish took to Instagram where he reposted a Kevin De Bruyne photo from the club’s official account with the caption: “Honestly… Never seen anything like it in my life. The goat.”

The 32-year-old made his first league appearance since August 2023, when he went off the pitch with a Һɑmꜱtгing ιnjᴜry against Burnley in City’s season opener. De Bruyne started on the bench against Newcastle and entered the game in the 69th minute, replacing Bernardo Silva.
