Speaking to Real Madrid’s official website, Brahim Diaz shared insightful thoughts about the recent derby match, particularly the victory over Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup. 

Expressing his joy, Diaz remarked, “I’m very happy; this victory tastes great. We showed everyone that we were Real Madrid. These moments can only be experienced here. All of us—the players—gave everything we had.” Acknowledging the intensity of the game, he highlighted the potential consequences of extra time but celebrated his excellent finish, emphasizing the Real Madrid way: “with passion and dedication until the very end. This is a family, and the whole club feels the same.”

Diaz also praised the defensive performance, noting, “I saw the defense playing very well. Defenders need to defend, and they do it brilliantly. But, if they can give us the advantage with goals, they deserve even more praise—especially in difficult times”. He expressed happiness for the defenders, emphasizing their crucial role in scoring, creating, and defending, making them all protagonists on the field.
